Grassley to Hold Town Meetings in Osceola and Sioux Counties

Grassley set to complete 44th year of annual 99 county meetings

BUTLER COUNTY, IOWA - U.S. Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) will hold public town meetings in Ocheyedan on August 19 and Sioux Center on August 20 as part of his annual 99 county meetings across Iowa. These stops will round out Grassley's annual tradition of holding at least one question-and-answer session in each of Iowa's 99 counties every year.

"Representative government relies on open dialogue between elected officials and the people we represent. Meeting with Iowans is the highlight of my job. I welcome the opportunity to meet face-to-face with Iowans in Osceola and Sioux counties and hear about the issues that matter most to them," Grassley said.

Town meetings are open to the public and the media. Grassley will be available for 15 minutes after both meetings to answer questions from local reporters. Members of the media who wish to attend the town hall or the media availability must RSVP directly to[email protected]. Details follow:
