Inside Lanes on Airport Road to Close on Wednesday

AMES, Iowa - The inside lanes on Airport Road from University Avenue to South Riverside Drive will close on Wednesday, Sept. 4, weather permitting, to begin the removal and replacement of pavement. Traffic will be diverted to the outside lanes during this time. This is anticipated to take two to three weeks.

Iowa Earth Works will focus on pavement removal. Once that work has been completed, All Star Concrete will begin paving operations.

Motorists should be aware of construction activity in the area and allow extra travel time. As always, caution should be exercised when traveling through the construction area.
