Motorists Should Watch for Detours and Expect Delays

Sonoma County -- Caltrans has scheduled various overnight full highway closures on State Route 12 (SR-12) in Santa Rosa due to ongoing guardrail work.

Eastbound SR-12 Overnight Closures

Starting Monday, July 29 until Friday, August 2, a full highway closure will be in effect on Eastbound SR-12 between Maple Avenue and the U.S. 101 interchange each night Mondays through Fridays from 12:01 AM until 5:00 AM. Work on this section of SR-12 will be completed by Friday, August 2 at 5:00 AM.

Westbound SR-12 Overnight Closures

Starting Monday July 29 until Friday August 2, a full highway closure will also be in effect on westbound SR-12 between the U.S. 101 interchange and Dutton Avenue each night Mondays through Fridays from 12:01 AM to 5:00 AM. Work on this section of SR-12 will be completed by Friday, August 2 at 5:00 AM.

Motorists should watch for detour signs, expect delays and if possible, take alternate routes. During the full highway closures, various traffic lanes in each direction may also be closed at various times overnight. For latest traffic conditions, go to Caltrans quickmap.
