Norton Rose Fulbright ranks second on Law360 summer associate survey

Norton Rose Fulbright placed second among all firms on Law360 Pulse 's survey polling summer associates about their overall experience this year.

The annual survey, conducted by Law360 Pulse, included more than 580 responses from 1Ls, 2Ls and 3Ls as well as part-time and evening students. The participants were asked about topics such as compensation fairness, mentorship, pro bono opportunities, networking and teambuilding.

The firm hosted 75 summer associates from 31 law schools across its US offices this year. The summer associate class was comprised of 53 percent women and 47 percent men, with 34 percent of the class self-identifying as racially diverse and 8 percent openly identifying as LGBTQIA+.

The summer associates' robust curriculum introduced them to Norton Rose Fulbright's people-first culture, connected them with firm leadership and offered firmwide and local work assignment programs. The programming included interactive sessions with presentations from firm management on many topics, including strategy, practice team overviews, practice-specific legal writing trainings and the firm's commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI).

In addition to local social events and networking opportunities, a variety of DEI events were offered by the Racial Equity Council, Multicultural Equity Council and Women in Norton Rose Fulbright Council.
