Director General of the Department of European Affairs met with Director General for Global Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sweden

On 18 September 2024, Mrs. Krongkanit Rakcharoen, Director-General of the Department of European Affairs, met with Mr. Dag Juhlin-Dannfelt, Director-General for Global Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Sweden, during the working lunch at the Government Dining Room in Stockholm.

The meeting focused on bilateral relations and cooperation in areas of mutual interest, including trade and investment, green transition, defense, protection of Thai workers in Sweden. Both sides also discussed the Thai-EU relations and Thailand's candidature to the Human Rights Council (HRC), as well as regional and global issues such as development in ASEAN and the Indo-Pacific region and the situation in Ukraine.
