GW Alumnus Wrote Book about Overcoming a Serious Health Condition

Jon Tuteur's book, "Seizing Today: Discovering Purpose & Authenticity in a Life-Changing Diagnosis."

GWSB alumnus Jon Tuteur, B.B.A '99, has written a new book, "Seizing Today: Discovering Purpose & Authenticity in a Life-Changing Diagnosis."The book details Tuteur's journey with a serious health condition.

Tuteur has epilepsy and due to the condition, was hospitalized for over a month, had over 500 seizures and three brain surgeries, leading to a life of resilience and self-discovery. His book is an account of what happens when an ordinary life is interrupted by immense and unexpected change.

Tuteur's work as an executive leadership coach, facilitator, speaker and author has taken him to five continents, where he has worked with organizations across various industries. He is also an adjunct faculty member at the Federal Executive Institute, where he teaches an emotional intelligence course to senior leaders. His writing has been featured in publications such as CEO World and Mentors Collective.
