During the next earthquake, don't use a doorway for cover - it's not safer than anywhere else in your house. Also, don't run outside because you can fall and/or be injured by debris or glass.

Experts say to DROP, COVER (by getting under a table, if possible) and HOLD ON with one hand while covering our head and neck with the other.

3^rd Annual Finding History Day happens Nov. 2

Calling all history enthusiasts to dive into Sonoma County's rich history at the 3^rd Annual Finding History Day, Saturday, Nov. 2, from 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. at Santa Rosa Veterans Memorial Building, 1351 Maple Ave., Santa Rosa.
