Find answers to your general questions and get help registering at the Welcome Center. It's open Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-7 p.m. & Friday, 8 a.m.-1 p.m. (except on holidays).

Labor Day (Holiday)

LAVC is closed in observance of the Labor Day holiday. Classes will resume and the campus will reopen on Tuesday, September 3.

The Good Times Farmers Market is hosting a farmer market at LA Valley College every Sunday year-round. There will be fresh produce, live music, food, beverages, baked goods and handcrafted items.

Don't Forget-Buy Your Fall Parking Permit!

Parking permits are required for the Fall semester. The two-week Fall parking grace period for student parking stalls ends on September 8, 2024; employee permits are required at all times in staff parking stalls.

Buy your $20 Fall Parking Permit online and pick up in the Business Office, or in-person at the Business Office for $20. Daily parking permits are also available from a parking pay station for $2 (cash only; selected pay stations accept cash and credit card).

Women's Water Polo vs. Pasadena City College

Friday, September 13 at 1 p.m. in the Aquatics Center

The LAVC Women's Water Polo team will play a scrimmage match against Pasadena City College.

Women's Soccer vs. Oxnard College

Friday, September 13 at 4 p.m. at Monarch Stadium

The LAVC Women's Soccer team plays Oxnard College on home turf.

Football vs. Compton College

Saturday, September 14 at 6 p.m. at Monarch Stadium

The LAVC Football team will play Compton College at its 2024 home and season opener.

U.S. Constitution Day

Tuesday, September 17 from 1-3 p.m. in Student Union Plaza

Join us at U.S. Constitution Day for an afternoon of engaging activities including art-inspired painting, a lively round of Jeopardy, and delicious food for ASO paid members.

Decoding the Ballot

Wednesday, October 23 from 1-2:30 p.m. in the Skybox Conference Room

Join us for Decoding the Ballot discussion with a representative from the League of Women Voters - Los Angeles. They will give a comprehensive overview of the pros and cons of each ballot measure and proposition on the California ballot.

An Educated Voter is a Smart Voter

Monday, September 23 from 1-2:30 p.m. in the Skybox Conference Room

Join us for an enlightening presentation by a representative from Pueblo y Salud, focusing on the crucial importance of being an informed voter as we approach the 2024 General Election. Complimentary food for ASU paid members.
