IRI Leadership Highlights Key Issues at Aspen Secu...

The Aspen Security Forum is an annual conference in which foreign policy and national security leaders review many of the most pressing challenges facing the world today. This year, IRI leadership traveled to Aspen to review and address many of those critical topics. Senator Dan Sullivan, IRI's Chairman, joined a bipartisan panel of senators to discuss key security issues from the Senate's perspective. IRI President Dr. Daniel Twining participated in a dynamic panel on India's challenges and opportunities. This year's forum emphasized innovative collaborations between the government, private industry, and civil society to tackle pressing security concerns.

On July 17, Dr. Twining spoke on a panel titled India: Challenges and Opportunities to answer some core questions of the forum, from "Which civil society actors, governments, and companies will partner to counter China's influence in the Global South?" and "How can the United States work with other democracies and the private sector to minimize the impact of AI-generated malicious content in elections with an eye toward election integrity?
