Monroe County Executive Adam Bello will kick off the 2024 County Executive Holiday Concert Series with a tree-lighting ceremony featuring the Wheatland-Chili High School Concert Band, at noon on December 2 at the Monroe County Office Building Atrium.
"Throughout December, the County Office Building comes alive with the warmth of holiday lights and music," said Monroe County Executive Adam Bello. "I invite the community to attend these free lunchtime concerts, featuring performances from local school districts and capturing the season's joy."
All performances will be at the Monroe County Office Building, 39 West Main Street, and will start at noon, with the exception of December 5, which starts at 11 a.m. The schedule is as follows:
December 2 - Wheatland Chili High School Concert Band
December 4 - Spencerport High School Jazz Ensemble
December 5 - Anna Murray-Douglass Academy School #12 Handbell Choir December 9 - School of the Arts High School Wind Ensemble
December 10 - School of the Arts High School Orchestra and Choir
December 11 - Churchville-Chili High School Choir
December 12 - Pittsford Barker Road MS Orchestra
December 16 - East Rochester High School Jazz Band and Select Choir December 17 - Gates-Chili HS Show Choir
December 18 - Abraham Lincoln School #22 Elementary Mixed Chorus December 19 - Fairport Martha Brown Middle School Mixed Choir
December 20 - Irondequoit High School Vocal Jazz Ensemble the "Gold n' Blues"
