Investigation Update: Arrest Made in Connection to Suspect Looking in Windows on Devon Street

Investigation Update: On Thursday, August 22, 2024, members of the Youth Violence Strike Force arrested John Furr, 26, in New Bedford. At the time of his arrest, the suspect was wanted on a warrant issued out of Dorchester District Court for Secret Sexual Surveillance, and Trespassing. He is expected to be arraigned in Dorchester Court.

The facts and circumstances surrounding the prior incident are as follows: Officers assigned to District B-2 (Roxbury) took a report for an individual who was observed looking into an occupied bathroom window about 2:30 AM on Wednesday, August 21, 2024 in the area of Devon St., Roxbury.

The Boston Police Department is actively reviewing the facts and circumstances surrounding these incidents. Anyone with information is strongly urged to contact District B-2 Detectives at (617) 343-4275.
