Diamond Sparkles in the International Junior Brown Swiss Show

MADISON, WIS. - The pair of Senior Champions claimed Grand and Reserve Grand Champion of the International Junior Brown Swiss Show on Wednesday, October 2. Grand Champion went to the winning junior of the Four-Year-Old Cow Class, TwinCounty Famous Diamond. She is the recipient of the Lillian & Keith King and Jim King Grand Champion of the Junior Show Award and the $650 Udder Comfort Grand Champion Award. Diamond is owned by Dakota Fraley of Reedsburg, Wis. Reserve Grand Champion honors went to the winning junior of the Aged Cow, Six-Year-Old & Over Cow, Graystone Kingpin Gitana, owned by Amelia Somers of Walton, N. Y.

Intermediate Champion went to Pit-Crew Phantom Nikita, the winning junior of the Junior Two-Year-Old Class. Nikita is leased by Allison Foss and owned by Pit-Crew Genetics, Cambridge, Minn. Reserve Intermediate Champion went to La Rainbow Sweet Sangria-ETV, the winning junior of the Summer Junior Two-Year-Old Class, owned by Brody Jackson, Blake & Garrett Hill, Cattaraugus, N.Y.

Junior Champion honors went to the winning Summer Yearling Heifer, Pit-Crew Collaps Talista, leased by Allison Foss, and owned by Pit-Crew Genetics of Cambridge, Minn. The winning Winter Yearling Heifer, M & M Carter Sage, was tapped as Reserve Junior Champion. Sage is owned by M & M Swiss-Jacobs and Levi Stuessel from Alma Center, Wis.

Official judge, Phillip Topp of Botkins, Ohio, and associate judge, Kaleb Kruse of Dyersville, Iowa, evaluated the 158 entries.
