A man will appear in court today after being charged following an alleged stabbing in Sydney's west.
About 1pm yesterday (Sunday 24 November 2024), emergency services were called to Knox Road, Doonside, following reports of a stabbing.
Officers attached to Blacktown City Police Area Command were told a 19-year-old man had been stabbed by a 25-year-old man following an altercation, before the younger man left the scene.
The 19-year-old was located a short time later and treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for an arm wound, before being taken to Westmead Hospital.
The 25-year-old man was treated for injuries to his feet before being taken to Westmead Hospital under police guard.
Upon his release, he was taken to Blacktown police station where he was charged with reckless wounding and affray.
He was refused bail to appear before Blacktown Local Court today, Monday 25 November 2025.
