COVID-19 Information and Updates

The COVID-19 virus is not done with the City of Santa Fe and Santa Fe County.

The Center for Disease Control (CDC) has a website with information about the variants currently causing most infections. These include KP.1, KP.2, and KP.3.

City of Santa Fe residents should be mindful of their loved ones and follow public health guidelines to prevent the spread of the highly contagious virus, including wearing masks in public places and social distancing.

Since the beginning of August, the newest variant of the COVID-19 virus has contributed to new cases in the City of Santa Fe and Santa Fe County.

According to the New Mexico Department of Health's Respiratory Infection Dashboard, the county's COVID-19 infection rate is 3.77 percent.

There were 976 reported cases throughout the state between Aug. 30 and Sept. 5.

The City recently passed Resolution 2024-38, recognizing the impact COVID-19 has had on New Mexico and its essential workers.
