The Maine Department of Labor's CareerCenters, together with their partners, offer many services to help people find employment or upgrade skills, and help employers find qualified workers.

Windows 10 PC Basics

August 12, 13, & 14, 2024 from 3-4 p.m.

Location: On-site in Hinckley, ME at Northern Kennebec Valley CareerCenter SEDC, 23 Stanley Rd KVCC--Alfond Campus, Averill Building

This is a series of 3 sessions. Learn how to get the most out of your Windows 10 computer. In this class you will learn about the operating system, navigating the desktop and taskbar, the File Explorer, working with files, using Microsoft Edge and so much more.

Android Basics

August 19, 20, & 21, 2024 from 34 p.m.

Location: Northern Kennebec Valley CareerCenter - SEDC 23 Stanley Rd KVCC--Alfond Campus, Averill Building, Hinckley ME This is a series of 3 sessions. Get started with your Android device, learn how to use essential applications like email, contacts, camera, and Chrome, and manage your settings.

Requirements for this class: An Android tablet or phone with Internet access.
