Global law firm Norton Rose Fulbright has advised European Investment Bank on a €42 million financing granted to Maspex Group.

The new financing supports the continuation of the sustainable development program and implementation of strategic investments in technologically advanced solutions in the field of energy and raw material efficiency, as well as increasing the efficiency of production. It will also cover investments in construction and operation of a wastewater treatment plant and the increase of the renewable energy generation. The investments will be made in factories located in Poland and Romania.

The Maspex Group continues its sustainable development programme and is implementing strategic investments in high-tech energy and raw material efficiency solutions. The planned projects will be implemented in regions covered by the EU's cohesion policy, support climate protection measures and decisively strengthen the Group's competitiveness.

The Warsaw team was led by counsel Jacek Smardzewski and included associate Michał Rutkowski. The team worked under the supervision of Grzegorz Dyczkowski, who heads the Warsaw office and the firm's Warsaw banking and finance practice.
