DCCC Releases First TV Ad in MI-08: “Deciding Vote”
Today, the DCCC released its first TV ad in the race for Michigan's 8th Congressional District, "Deciding Vote," highlighting Paul Junge's extreme anti-abortion agenda that threatens Michiganders reproductive freedoms.
Paul Junge has described himself as pro-life "at all times." After the Dobbs decision, Junge said that Roe created "made up rights " and said he would "celebrate the opportunity" to restrict women's reproductive rights.
In 2022, Michiganders overwhelmingly supported codifying abortion access into the state's constitution. But if elected, Junge would overturn the will of the voters by passing federal legislation to ban abortion nationwide - including in Michigan - even in the cases of rape and incest.
The ad - the first to run in MI-08 from the DCCC IE - is airing in the Flint media market beginning today and is the committee's first TV investment in key battleground districts in Michigan this cycle.

Michigan voted to protect abortion, Paul Junge doesn't care.
