The Annual PDA/FDA Joint Regulatory Conference Draws Record Audience

Today marks the start of the PDA/FDA Joint Regulatory Conference in Washington D.C. PDA is happy to announce that they have a new record in attendees for this prestigious event with over 900 people have attended. PDA hosted a press conference featuring their President and CEO Glenn E. Wright after the morning plenary. He was very complimentary of the incredibly insightful FDA presentations that help the industry understand the direction FDA is headed in its reorganization and specific areas of concern. "One of the most valuable aspects of PDA and our meetings is how it brings experts both from industry and the regulatory agencies together with a clear focus on science. The PDA/FDA Joint Regulatory Conference is a great example of this."

PDA continues to invest in the science of pharmaceutical manufacturing. In 2024 PDA is on target to exceed 250 events including conferences, interest group meetings, workshops, training courses and chapter events.

PDA also is planning the October release of their latest book "Global Sterile Manufacturing - Regulatory Guidance Comparison & Assessment Tool ". This updated book fills a much-needed gap in simplifying the challenging task of looking across regulatory guidance to ensure global compliance. The book includes access to a an electronic spreadsheet which parses guidance from all the major regulatory agencies.
