Mayor Freddie O’Connell to celebrate unanimous Council passage of Choose How You Move, 300th bus shelter opening at Friday media roundtable

Media are invited Friday at 10:00 a.m. to a roundtable at the Bordeaux Library (4000 Clarksville Pk.) that will begin with cutting the ribbon on WeGo's 300th bus shelter and a ceremonial bill signing celebrating council's passage of the Choose How You Move transportation program.

The ribbon cutting at the WeGo shelter is located across the street from the Bordeaux Library at the intersection of Clarksville Pk. and Fairview Dr. The ceremonial bill signing will occur inside the Bordeaux Library. Vice Mayor Angie Henderson, members of the Metro Council, and several community members will join Mayor O'Connell for the signing.

Media are encouraged to park at the Bordeaux Library and carefully cross to the bus shelter.

The event should conclude by 11:00 a.m.
