SPEAKER KURTULMUŞ’S CONDOLENCE PHONE CALL TO SPEAKER OF KAZAKISTAN MAJLIS, QOŞANOV

Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (GNAT), Numan Kurtulmuş, conveyed his condolences by a phone call to the Speaker of Kazakhstan Majlis, Erlan Qoşanov, for the loss of 14 forest workers in the forest fire in Kazakhstan.

In a phone call, Speaker of the GNAT, Kurtulmuş stated, 'We are deeply saddened by the loss of life of the workers in the forest fires in the Abay region of Kazakhstan.

We have not forgotten the support of the Kazakh state and Kazakh people in the forest fires and earthquake disaster in Türkiye. In the same way, I state that we stand by our brother Kazakhstan people.

There is a nice word of wisdom in our Turkish; 'Pain is less when shared'.

Hereby, I offer my condolences and best wishes to all the brotherly people of Kazakhstan on your behalf, and I wish a speedy recovery for the injured.'
