Graham Statement on President Trump Nominating SC's Scott Bessent for Treasury Secretary

WASHINGTON - U.S. Senator Lindsey Graham (R-South Carolina) today made this statement after President Trump nominated South Carolina native Scott Bessent for U.S. Treasury Secretary.

"I've had the pleasure of knowing Scott and his family for years, and they are top notch in every way. No one understands the America First approach to reviving our economy, getting a handle on our debt, and enforcing our trade laws better than Scott Bessent.

"He is a great combination of being academically gifted and real world tested. President Trump's economic agenda is in good hands with Scott Bessent.
