Closure of State Route 9, Other Roads In Downtown Alpharetta This Weekend
The Wire and Wood Music Festival returns to Downtown Alpharetta this Friday and Saturday, and it brings with it a number of road closures, including the closure of a section of State Route 9. Motorists are strongly encouraged to avoid the area while the closures are in effect, and those who do visit Downtown Alpharetta are cautioned to expect travel delays and heavy pedestrian activity.

→ Milton Ave. from the Milton Ave parking deck entrance to HWY9
→ Roswell/Canton St. from Old Roswell St. to Old Canton St.
→ Old Roswell St. from parking lot entrance to Milton Ave.
Fri, October 11 from 9am through Sun, October 13 at 4am
→ Commerce St. & N. Broad St.
→ Market St. from S. Broad St. to Academy St.
Fri & Sat, October 11 from 10am through Sun, October 13 at 1am
→ Hwy 9 from Milton Ave to Old Milton Pkwy
→ South Broad St. & Market St. to City Hall parking deck entrance
Fri & Sat, October 11 from 4pm - midnight & October 12 from 10am - midnight
→ Park Plaza from Academy St. to City Hall parking deck entrance
Parking Advertised for Event: Milton Ave parking deck (92 Milton Ave), Roswell Street lot
On-street parking for roads above will be closed Oct 11 at 5:00 am - Oct 13 at 1:00 am. Vehicles left on the streets will be ticketed or towed at the owner's expense.
(45 Roswell St.), Old Roswell Street lot (27 Old Roswell St.), City Hall parking deck (2 Park Plaza), or Alpharetta Community Center (175 Roswell St.)In addition, there will be no on-street parking along the impacted roads from 6:00 AM on Friday, October 11 until 4:00 AM on Sunday, October 13.
