Route 8 Single-lane Restrictions Start Wednesday in Richland Township

Pittsburgh, PA - PennDOT District 11 is announcing around-the-clock single-lane restrictions on Route 8 (William Flinn Highway) Richland Township, Allegheny County will begin Wednesday, August 21 weather permitting.

Single-lane restrictions in both directions will occur on the Route 8 bridge over Bakerstown Road from 7 a.m. Wednesday continuously through 5 p.m. Friday, August 30. Crews from A. Folino Construction, Inc. will conduct concrete deck repairs.

The work is part of a $13.59 million project that includes milling and resurfacing of the existing asphalt roadway, minor bridge preservation work, guide rail updates, minor drainage updates, traffic signal upgrades, and pavement marking/delineation updates between Spencer Lane Extension and the Butler County line.

Please use caution when traveling through the area. Motorists should expect delays.
