Still untangling Christmas lights, only to find they don't work? Instead of throwing them in the garbage, recycle instead. Bring them to Azle City Hall, 505 W. Main Street, where we have a roll off container located on the last row of the parking lot where you can dispose of those non-working Christmas lights. The bin will be out until January 13, so you can dispose of any unwanted lights as you undecorate.
Christmas lights, like most electronics, are not biodegradable and will not decompose. If you want to do your part to look after the earth, recycling your lights is a great way to do it. DO NOT put them in your home recycle bin as they tangle up recycling machinery.
