Something I've learned about myself over the past few years is that I've always been quite a seasonal person.

I relish the first buds of spring over pancakes and hot cross buns and chocolate Easter eggs. When summer comes, I try and get out the house as much as I possibly can - preferably around a BBQ with a well-deserved Pimms. At Christmas, I revel in the lights, the carols, and the sprawling family dinners.

Yes, I know - I like my food. That's probably how I most know the weather is changing. Indeed, for me, autumn is possibly the season I think the change is most noticeable: Out go the barbecues, in come roast dinners, and - if I go back home for a weekend - my mum's cottage pies.

And, it appears I'm not the only one: With autumn now in full swing, news brands' weekend supplements are filled with recipes and tips to make the most of the harvest.

What's more, with the latest IPA TouchPoints data showing that Britain's news brands attract almost 8 million foodies every week, advertisers are also eager to join in the storm in the kitchen with multi-platform campaigns and partnerships.

I hope you're feeling hungry. Here is just a glimpse of the top campaigns certain to whet your appetite.

Tesco Finest

With the brand launching a six-month campaign with the Guardian's multi-platform Feast food supplement, Tesco Finest is brimming with ideas and recipes for the news brand's readers to sink their teeth into this autumn.

The supermarket brand and renowned recipe writer Esther Clark put their heads together to come up with this delicious squash and goat's cheese salad - the perfect transitional dish for when the nights start drawing in.

Morrisons

Tesco isn't the only supermarket brand turning up the autumn vibes for readers. As part of its wider Good Food partnership with Mail Metro Media, Morrisons' partnership offers plenty of inspiration in this double-page spread.

Traditional British food particularly lends itself to autumn meals, and there's plenty to try here. The partnership highlights a sumptuous steak and mushroom pie, a new way to enjoy a "Kiev" with cod rather than chicken, and how to get the most out of apple season.

Slimming World

Maintaining a healthy diet does not mean giving up tasty food, particularly with Slimming World on the case. Its partnership with the Sunday People's Love Sunday magazine has two days' worth of breakfast and lunch sorted, with tasty oats, fruit, pasta, and soups.

Dr. Oetker

However, there are some dishes that are just as tasty on hot summer days in the garden as on evenings cosy around the fireplace.

I can, of course, only be talking about one thing: pizza!

This Dr. Oetker partnership with the Mail on Sunday urges readers to ditch living for the weekend and embrace a slice of midweek Italian dolce vita. With the content showcasing the brand's Ristorante range, there's plenty to inspire readers' next Wednesday pizza night with friends and family.

And there's more!

To round off this veritable feast of harvest goodness, there are even more top campaigns from across print and digital:

Whether it's Gousto making family feeding time a doddle, Riverford bringing fresh produce direct to readers' doors, or Heinz making get-togethers a little saucier, the hardest part is deciding what to make first!
