Final Guaranteed Yard Waste Collection Round Begins Next Week

For some neighborhoods of Madison, the final guaranteed leaf collection of the fall begins next week.

These neighborhoods have a set out day for leaves and yard waste of Sunday, November 10, 2024.

Other neighborhoods have later final guaranteed set out dates for leaves and yard waste collection.

Please check the yard waste website to learn when your final guaranteed set out date for leaf collection will occur. The website is www.cityofmadison.com/YardWaste.

Will There be More Leaf Collections?

The final guaranteed leaf collection round lasts through the first week of December.

At this time, it is unknown if the weather will allow for more leaf collection opportunities later in December. The same people collecting leaves are the same people who drive snowplows, so it is uncertain if the personnel will be needed to respond to a snow event.

If the weather allows for more yard waste collection, it will be announced.

Drop-off sites hours change seasonally. Be sure you are aware when they switch to winter hours.
