SBA Disaster Loan Outreach Center in Miami Gardens, FL Extends Closing Date to Monday, July 29

Atlanta - The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) announced today it will extend the closing date for the Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) in Miami Gardens, FL. The Center was originally scheduled to close July 20, but due to increased activity it will remain open through Monday, July 29. The SBA opened the center to assist businesses and residents affected by the severe storms and flooding that occurred on June 11-14.

Until then, SBA's friendly and knowledgeable Customer Service Representatives at the Centers are available to answer questions, help apply for an SBA Disaster Loan, accept documents, and provide updates on an application's status. Walk-ins are accepted, but you can schedule an in-person appointment at an SBA Disaster Loan Outreach Center in advance. Hours of operations are indicated below.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Thursday, July 25, 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Closed: Sunday

Permanently Closes: Monday, July 29 at 4 p.m.

Applicants may also call SBA's Customer Service Center at (800) 659-2955 or email [email protected] for more information on SBA disaster assistance. For people who are deaf, hard of hearing, or have a speech disability, please dial 7-1-1 to access telecommunications relay services.

The filing deadline to return applications for physical property damage is Aug. 30, 2024. The deadline to return economic injury applications is April 1, 2025.
