AUBURN, ALA. - The Terracon Foundation announced a $50,000 grant to Auburn University that will fund the Terracon Endowed Fellowship to support students who have a concentration in geotechnical engineering in Auburn's Samuel Ginn College of Engineering.
"Fellowships are critical to recruiting and retaining the best academic talent among master's and doctorate students," said Matthew McCullough, P.E., geotechnical department manager in Terracon's Birmingham, Alabama office. "Auburn has the highest-ranked engineering program in the state and this endowed fellowship will help its College of Engineering continue to recruit the brightest students to help with research while they complete their graduate degrees."
Based in Auburn, Auburn University is a public, land-grant university. It is comprised of a graduate school and a dozen colleges offering more than 150 undergraduate majors.
