Lane Closures on Pearle Avenue and Main Street Begin Monday for Sewer Repair

Pearle Avenue will be closed to southbound traffic at Fifth Street, and Main Street will be closed to westbound traffic at Pearle Avenue beginning at 7:30 a.m. on Monday, Aug. 19 through Thursday, Aug. 22, weather permitting, for a sanitary sewer repair.

While performing routine sewer maintenance, City crews discovered damage to a sewer main that required attention. During the repair, traffic through the construction zone may be temporarily delayed by trucks or equipment. Crews will reopen the lanes for traffic as quickly and safely as possible. Motorists are encouraged to use detours.

There will be intermittent lane restrictions in the area until the road surface is fully restored. Drivers should slow down and use caution while the repairs are completed. This closure will affect CyRide buses. Please visit www.CyRide.com for any route changes.
