On September 20-22, 2024, the"2024 Third Quarter Concentrated Training of Vacation Crews of SITC Shipping" was held at the Zhiyuanlou Hotel in Qingdao. More than 120 vacation Captains, Chief Engineers, Chief officers, 2nd Engineers, 2nd Officers, 3rd officers etc. senior crews of SITC fleet participated in the training.

CEO Xue first thanked everyone for their efforts and dedication. SITC had achieved good results, but there was still room for improvement. We should concentrate efforts to restore the appearance of the ship, improve its condition, and attach importance to fleet construction; Following up on the development of the ship management system and the establishment of a crew evaluation system to achieve open and transparent rewards and punishments; Striving to achieve the management mode of ship self-management and shore based support as soon as possible.President Ji Wenguang of SITC Shipping introduced the organizational structure and safety management system of SITC Shipping,by implementing a new flat management structure and adjusting functions, we aimed to improve management execution efficiency and facilitate timely collaboration between ship and shore; We woll continue to strengthen ship safety management and crew training, and build a high-quality, responsible, and DNA based crew team for the future development of SITC. In addition, the centers and branches of SITC Shipping, Operation Center of SITC Line, and Qingdao Maritime Safety Bureau had provided training to vacationing crew members on fleet machinery and maritime safety management, shipping schedule management, PSC inspection points, ship inspection and evaluation, ship management system operation instructions, and accident case interpretation, and put forward opinions and suggestions for future work.

The purpose of this training is to strengthen the safety awareness, operation process, and sense of responsibility in daily work, and improve management ability, coordination and communication ability, and learning ability.
