Friday Night Lane Closures on I-75 at West Paces Ferry Rd
METRO ATLANTA - Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) maintenance crews will install lane closures on Interstate 75 northbound for bridge repairs in Fulton County this weekend. The purpose of the closure is to ensure safety for workers and motorists as they repair part of the bridge.
Weather and on-site conditions permitting, three left lanes will be closed on I-75 northbound near West Paces Ferry Road beginning 9 p.m. on Friday, June 28 until 5 a.m. on Saturday.
On-site signage will alert drivers of these closures and detour in advance.
As always, motorists traveling in the area are reminded to reduce their speeds in the work zone. Drivers are also advised to wear seatbelts, eliminate distractions behind the wheel - put your phone down, and plan routes before getting on the road by calling 511, visit 511ga.org or download the 511GA app for Apple or Android for real-time information on work status and traffic conditions.
