Meeting of the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia with the Director-General of Folke Bernadotte Academy

On November 11, in Sweden, Davit Karapetyan, the Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, had a meeting with Per Olsson Fridh, the Director-General of Folke Bernadotte Academy (FBA).

Davit Karapetyan reiterated the commitment of the Government of Armenia to the implementation of democratic reforms, the development of institutional capacities and the increase of Armenia's resilience.

The Secretary General of the Foreign he Ministry of Armenia briefed his interlocutor on the inaugural "Yerevan Dialogue" international forum held in September in Armenia, emphasizing the importance of ensuring its continuity for raising awareness on international challenges and the ways to address them.

During the meeting, the potential prospects for expanding cooperation with the Folke Bernadotte Academy were also touched upon.

In this context, Davit Karapetyan commended the Academy's role in conflict prevention, peacebuilding and capacity development, emphasizing the importance of its involvement in the work of the EU monitoring mission in Armenia.
