A Weekend of Cultural Delights Awaits in New Brunswick



NEW BRUNSWICK, NJ (August 23, 2024) - This weekend, New Brunswick is set to burst with vibrant cultural experiences. From Indian traditions to Caribbean rhythms, there's something for everyone to enjoy during the Hub City Sounds extravaganza.

On Saturday, August 24, the Indo-American: Janmashtami Festival will transform the New Brunswick Performing Arts Center's third floor, 11 Livingston Ave., into a bustling marketplace of Indian flavors and traditions. Indulge in delicious cuisine, witness captivating music and dance performances, and participate in interactive workshops. The event is taking place from 2 to 5 p.m.

On Sunday, August 25, the Ninth-Annual Caribbean Festival will take place at Recreation Park, 7 Pine St. Experience the infectious energy of reggae, soca, and calypso music while enjoying authentic Caribbean cuisine.
