Planned Road Work for Mid-Missouri…

July 29 - Aug. 4, 2024

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. - The following is a list of general highway maintenance and construction work planned in the mid-Missouri area July 29 - Aug. 4, 2024. Weather conditions may postpone scheduled work. Many projects will include lane closures which could cause delays.

All Counties

Moving operations such as pothole patching, mowing, brush cutting, and pavement repair continue in various locations. Motorists should travel with care and be alert for slow-moving equipment.

Boone County

U.S. Route 63 - Bridge maintenance planned July 29 at the Turkey Creek bridge. One lane will remain open.

U.S. Route 63 - Pavement repair planned July 30 - 31 from Route H to Minor Hill Road. One lane will remain open.

Missouri Route 124 and Route B - Upgrades to pedestrian facilities continue in the city of Hallsville. One lane will remain open in each direction, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones. The project is scheduled for completion in August 2024.

Missouri Route 163 (Providence Road) - Resurfacing continues from Route K/Old Plank Road north to Interstate 70. One lane will be closed between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. The project is scheduled for completion in August 2024.

U.S. Route 63 - Bridge maintenance continues from Missouri Route 763 (Range Line Street) to Route B. One lane will be closed between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. The project is scheduled for completion in October 2024.

Business Loop 70 - Resurfacing continues. One lane will be closed between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. The project is scheduled for completion in October 2024.

Route M - ADA improvements continue between Chico Drive and Main Street in Ashland. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone. The project is scheduled for completion in December 2024.

I-70 - Bridge construction continues for the new Rocheport Bridge near mile marker 115. The project is scheduled for completion in December 2024.

Callaway County

Route C - Culvert replacement planned July 29. The road will be CLOSED between the north and south junctions with County Road 400 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists must use an alternate route.

Route WW - Culvert replacement planned July 29. The road will be CLOSED from County Road 259 to the Cedar Creek bridge/Boone County line from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists must use an alternate route.

Route A - Culvert replacement planned July 30. The road will be CLOSED from County Road 154 to County Road 181 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists must use an alternate route.

Route A - Culvert replacement planned July 31. The road will be CLOSED at County Road 1006 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Motorists must use an alternate route.

U.S. Route 63 - Pavement repair planned Aug. 1 from the Turkey Creek bridge to Renz Farm Road. One lane will remain open.

Missouri Route 94/U.S. Route 63 - Bridge rehabilitation continues over U.S. Route 54. One lane of each overpass bridge will remain open. Northbound Route 94 access is CLOSED at the overpass bridge and a signed detour is in place. The project is scheduled for completion in September 2024.

U.S. Route 63 - Ramp from northbound U.S. Route 63 to westbound U.S. Route 54 CLOSED for a bridge rehabilitation project through September 2024. A signed detour is in place.

U.S. Route 54 - Ramp from westbound U.S. Route 54 to eastbound Route 94 CLOSED for a bridge rehabilitation project through September 2024. A signed detour is in place.

U.S. Route 54 - Pavement repairs continue from north of the Missouri River to Route OO. Single-lane closures will occur at varying times, depending on the location. Expect delays during morning/evening rush hours.

Old Jefferson Road - Intersection improvements continue at U.S. Route 54 crossover. The crossover is CLOSED and a signed detour is in place. The project is scheduled for completion in September 2024.

I-70 - New pavement construction continues from the Boone County line to Kingdom City (near mile marker 145) as part of the Improve I-70 Program. Learn more at modot.org/improvei70/columbiakingdomcity

Camden County

Route BB - Resurfacing continues from Route 7 to Missouri Route 5 in Laclede County. One lane will remain open, and flaggers will direct motorists through the work zone. The project is scheduled for completion in August 2024.

Route T - Resurfacing continues. One lane will remain open, and flaggers will direct motorists through the work zone. The project is scheduled for completion in August 2024.

Missouri Route7 - Pavement marking and guardrail work planned from Route AA to U.S. Route 65 in Benton County. Pavement marking will be a moving operation. Guardrail work in Edwards (Benton County) will require the use of temporary signals to direct motorists through the work zone. The project is scheduled for completion in November 2024.

Cole County

U.S. Route 54 - Bridge rehabilitation continues over U.S. Route 50 and McCarty Street in Jefferson City. U.S. Route 54 will remain open but is narrowed to one lane in each direction between south of the Missouri River and Business Route 50 (Missouri Boulevard) for up to 90 calendar days. The project is scheduled for completion in October 2024.

Cooper County

I-70 - Bridge painting continues nightly at the Lamine River bridges near mile marker 93. One lane will remain open.The project is scheduled for completion in August 2024.

Route O - Bridge rehabilitation continues at the Moniteau Creek Bridge. The road is CLOSED to all traffic and motorists will need to seek an alternate route. The project is scheduled for completion in September 2024.

I-70 - Bridge construction continues for the new Rocheport Bridge near mile marker 115. The project is scheduled for completion in December 2024.

Crawford County

Missouri Route 19 - Pavement repair continues July 29 - Aug. 1 from Winn Road to the city limits of Cuba. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.

Route 19 - Shoulder work planned July 29 - Aug. 1 from Roanoak Road to K P Road. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.

Route C - Culvert replacement planned July 29 - Aug. 1 at Rohrer Road. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.

Route E - Culvert replacement planned July 29 - Aug. 1 from Missouri Route 8 to Moutray Road. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.

Route M - Shoulder work continues July 29 - Aug. 1 from Route 8 to Route YY. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place.

Route O - Shoulder work planned July 29 - Aug 1. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.

Route U - Roadside work planned July 29 - Aug. 1. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.

Route Y - Culvert replacement planned July 29 - Aug. 1 from Missouri Route 49 in Viburnum (Iron County) to Route V. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.

Route JJ - Culvert replacement planned July 29 - Aug. 1 at Railroad Street in Bourbon. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.

Route H - Bridge rehabilitation continues at the I-44 overpass in Bourbon. The road is CLOSED to all traffic with a signed detour directing motorists around the closure. The project is scheduled for completion in August 2024.

Route HH - Bridge deck replacement continues at the Dry Creek Bridge. The road is CLOSED to all traffic and motorists will need to seek an alternate route. The project is scheduled for completion in August 2024.

Route 19 - Bridge rehabilitation continues at the I-44 overpass in Cuba. One lane will remain open. The project is scheduled for completion in September 2024.

I-44 - Resurfacing continues from just west of Cuba to the Franklin County line. One lane will remain open. The project, which includes resurfacing, is scheduled for completion in November 2024

Routes E and H - Road resurfacing scheduled to begin July 29. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones. The project is scheduled for completion in December 2024.

Dent County

Route CC - Pavement repair planned July 29 - Aug. 1 from Route C in Texas County to Route H. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.

Routes ZZ and BB - Sealing operations planned July 31 for the entirety of both routes. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place on both routes.

Route Z - Sealing operations planned Aug. 1 for the entire route. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone. A 10-foot width restriction will be in place.

Gasconade County

Route OO - Pothole patching planned July 29 - Aug. 1. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.

Missouri Route 28 - Guardrail work continues from Owensville to Belle in Maries County. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone. The project is scheduled for completion in August 2024.

Route 19 - Bridge replacement continues at Frene Creek in Hermann. The road is CLOSED to all traffic with a signed detour directing motorists around the closure. The project is scheduled for completion in August 2024.

Missouri Route 100 - Resurfacing continues from U.S. Route 50 in Osage County to Route N. One lane will be closed between 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. The project is scheduled for completion in September 2024.

Routes Z, E, and NN - Resurfacing planned to begin July 29. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone. The project is scheduled for completion in September 2024.

Howard County

Missouri Route 240 - ADA improvements continue in the city of Fayette. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone. The project is scheduled for completion in August 2024.

Route P - Bridge rehabilitation continues at the Bonne Femme Creek Bridge in New Franklin. The road is CLOSED to all traffic and motorists will need to seek an alternate route. The project is scheduled for completion in August 2024.

Laclede County

Route BB - Resurfacing continues from Route 7 in Camden County to Route 5. One lane will remain open, and flaggers will direct motorists through the work zone. The project is scheduled for completion in August 2024.

Route F - Resurfacing continues from Route BB to I-44. One lane will remain open, and flaggers will direct motorists through the work zone. The project is scheduled for completion in August 2024.

Route T - Resurfacing scheduled to begin July 29. One lane will remain open, and flaggers will direct motorists through the work zone. The project is scheduled for completion in August 2024.

Missouri Route 64 - Bridge replacement continues at the Goodwin Hollow Creek Bridge. The road is CLOSED to all traffic. A signed detour is in place. The project is scheduled for completion in fall 2024.

Maries County

Route 28 - Guardrail work continues from Owensville in Gasconade County to Belle. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone. The project is scheduled for completion in August 2024.

Moniteau County

Route C - Culvert replacement planned July 29 - 30 from Missouri Route 87 to Route T. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.

Route Y - Culvert replacement planned July 30 - 31 from Bethel School Road to Missouri Route 179. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.

Morgan County

Missouri Route 52 - Road resurfacing continues from just east of the Benton County line to U.S. Route 65 in Benton County. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones. The project is scheduled for completion July 29, 2024.

Route NN - Road resurfacing scheduled July 30. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.

Route KK - Road resurfacing scheduled Aug. 1 - 2. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.

Route DD - Road resurfacing scheduled July 31 - Aug. 9. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones.

Osage County

Routes KK and OO - Pothole patching planned July 29 - Aug. 1. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.

Missouri Route 133 - Resurfacing planned from Meta to Westphalia. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone. The project is scheduled for completion in August 2024.

Route 100 - Resurfacing continues from U.S. Route 50 to Route N in Gasconade County. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone. The project is scheduled for completion in August 2024.

Route FFand K- Resurfacing continues for the entirety of both routes. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones. The project is scheduled for completion in August 2024.

Phelps County

Route E - Culvert replacement planned July 29 - Aug. 1 from County Road 8300 to County Road 8430. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.

Route W - Pavement repair planned July 29 - Aug 1. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.

Route T - Pavement repair planned Aug. 1 from Route M to Newburg. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.

Route FF - Seal coating planned Aug. 1 from Broadway in Edgar Springs to the end of state maintenance. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.

I-44 - Road resurfacing and reconstruction continues from Exit 186 in Rolla to Exit 195 in St. James. Expect around-the-clock lane closures from U.S. Route 63 to Missouri Route 68. An 11-foot width restriction is in place. The project is scheduled for completion in late fall 2024.

Route F - Bridge and guardrail work scheduled to begin July 29 in preparation for a pavement preservation treatment. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zones. The project is scheduled for completion in December 2024.

Pulaski County

Route Y - Culvert replacement planned July 30 approximately 1 mile north of the city limits of St. Robert. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.

Route W - Culvert replacement planned July 31 at Raceway Road. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.

Business Loop 44 - Bridge rehabilitation continues over I-44 in St. Robert. Crossover construction is scheduled as night work, 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. Following crossover construction, traffic will shift to a head-to-head configuration and daytime work to rehabilitate the bridges. The project is scheduled for completion in December 2024.

Shannon County

Route KK - Seal coating planned July 30 from Route K to Route 19. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.

Washington County

Route C - Seal coating planned July 29 - Aug. 1 from Route Y to Missouri Route 21. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.

Route W - Road resurfacing planned July 29 - Aug. 1. One lane will remain open, and crews will flag traffic through the work zone.

Route A - Bridge replacement continues at the Richwoods Creek Bridge.The road is CLOSED to all traffic and motorists will need to seek an alternate route. The project is scheduled for completion in August 2024.
