Romanian Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development reviews the use of Hi Tech at Almarai farms and factories in Al Kharj

His Excellency Florin Barbu, Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development of Romania, visited Almarai's farms and factories in Al-Kharj on Wednesday, 27th Dhu al-Hijjah 1445 AH, corresponding to July 3, 2024.
His Excellency the Romanian Minister and his accompanying delegation were received by Mr. Faisal Alfahadi, Executive Vice President of Corporate Affairs, who accompanied them on a tour that included the dairy farms and the Third Central Processing Plant.
The Minister and his delegation were briefed on the advanced technologies employed in Almarai's farms and factories, and the high-tech solutions integrated at every stage of manufacturing. These technologies include the use of artificial intelligence and robotics in raw material transportation across production lines, through the manufacturing process, and into the distribution of the final product to ensure quality you can trust.
Additionally, His Excellency reviewed the use of electronic chips in the dairy farms, which provide a complete genealogy of the herd, ensuring the highest standards of health and nutritional care according to an integrated health system.
