Let The Music Play 2024-2025 grant program application now open supporting music education programs in Milwaukee County

American Family Insurance and Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. announce the application opening for the 7th annual Let The Music Play Grant Program.

Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. (MWF) and American Family Insurance are proud to announce that applications are now open for the 7th annual Let The Music Play Grant Program.Nonprofit organizations and school programs that support music education are encouraged to apply. The deadline to submit an application is October 31, 2024.

The Let The Music Play grant program is designed to support local music education and enrich the arts education in our community. The program provides critical funding for hundreds of students, enhancing their access to instruments, instruction, and performance opportunities.

Past grant recipients include Rufus King High School, Arts @Large, Milwaukee Jazz Orchestra, Milwaukee High School of the Arts, Woodlands Elementary School, Girls Rock MKE, and many more.

"This grant program showcases our commitment to fostering creativity through music, inspiring the next generation of artists, and keeping music and arts education accessible throughout our community," said Sarah Pancheri, president and CEO, Milwaukee World Festival, Inc. "We are proud to support this program with American Family Insurance and help ensure that music education remains a part of the curriculum for these organizations."

Let The Music Play is open to nonprofit organizations and schools that serve Milwaukee County through music-based programming for students. The grant program is intended to represent the variety of music-based activities taking place in the greater Milwaukee community and is open to programs ranging from band, orchestra, and jazz to musical theater and dance. MWF encourages the community to reach out to their local schools and non-profits to spread the word about this grant opportunity.
