ARREST: 24RIK1-21-AR LOCATION: NEWPORT

At 9:15 PM, Troopers arrested Jason Abdullah age 39, of Newport, Rhode Island on an Affidavit Arrest Warrant for 1.) Violation of Community Supervision out of the State Police Adult Correctional Institution Detective Unit. The arrest was the result of an investigation by Detectives and the Newport Police Department subsequently taking Jason Abdullah into custody. The subject was transported to State Police Headquarters where he was processed and held overnight pending morning arraignment.
