Simmons Hanly Conroy Partner Philip Proud Among Missouri Lawyers Media’s 2024 Up & Coming Award Winners

ALTON, Ill. - Simmons Hanly Conroy LLP, one of the nation's largest mass torts firms and a national leader in the legal representation of mesothelioma patients and their families, is pleased to announce that firm partner Philip E. Proud is among the winners of Missouri Lawyers Media's 2024 Up & Coming Awards.

Philip Proud is a partner based in the firm's Alton office near St. Louis. He is licensed to practice in Illinois, Missouri, New York, Louisiana and various federal court jurisdictions.

Proud focuses his practice on helping those affected by asbestos-related diseases, such as mesothelioma. He has litigated numerous cases across the country in various state and federal jurisdictions and has successfully secured millions of dollars on his clients' behalf.

Prior to joining Simmons Hanly Conroy, Proud represented clients in matters involving personal injury, the Federal Employers' Liability Act, the Jones Act, products liability, as well as mass torts and class actions. He earned his J.D. from Southern Illinois University School of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Rochester in New York.
