Rep. Guthrie and Sen. Paul To Host 2024 Service Academy Information Fair

BOWLING GREEN, KY - Congressman Brett Guthrie (KY-02) will host a Service Academy Information Fair alongside Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) for students and their families interested in learning more about the application process for U.S. Service Academies.

The 2024 Service Academy Information Fair will be held at the Knicely Conference Center at Western Kentucky University on Thursday, September 5, 2024, starting at 5 p.m. CT.

"I am looking forward to hosting the 2024 Service Academy Information Fair alongside Senator Paul to give students and their families an opportunity to learn more about the application process for U.S. Service Academies. Representatives from the service academies will be present to answer specific questions about admissions, and my staff and I will also be available to walk students through the nomination process. As a proud West Point graduate, one of my favorite responsibilities is helping the next generation navigate the admissions process for our nation's prestigious service academies that help shape our nation's future military leaders," said Congressman Guthrie.

"A very rewarding aspect of representing our Commonwealth is the opportunity to nominate young men and women from across Kentucky to attend our nation's prestigious service academies. I look forward to hosting this Service Academy Information Fair with Rep. Guthrie where both of our staffs and representatives from the service academies will be present to assist students in the application process and answer any questions they may have. I commend each of these students for their interest and desire to serve in the United States military and wish them the best of luck through the remainder of their application process," said Dr. Paul.

Representatives from the U.S. Military Academy, U.S. Naval Academy, U.S. Merchant Marine Academy, U.S. Air Force Academy, and U.S. Coast Guard Academy will be at the fair to answer questions. The U.S. Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) will also have a representative from Western Kentucky University present to provide information on ROTC programs and college scholarship opportunities.
