MEMA Original Equipment Suppliers Appoints Rob Allerton as New Vice President, Commercial Vehicle Membership

Southfield, MI, July 31, 2024- MEMA Original Equipment Suppliers (MEMA OE Suppliers) is pleased to

announce the appointment of Rob Allertonas Vice President of Commercial Vehicle Membership. In this role, Rob will lead initiatives to strengthen the MEMA Original Equipment Supplier group's support for the commercial vehicle sector, bringing his extensive industry experience to enhance strategic planning, business development, and member engagement.

With over 30 years of industry experience, Rob has a proven track record as a technically based, market-focused executive-level decision-maker. His career includes directing global sales, marketing, and business development teams for Fortune 100 companies and legislative authorities across various vehicle, powertrain, driveline, chassis, emissions, and energy storage/delivery technologies.

Rob's diverse background spans multiple industries and products, providing him with dynamic insights and experience applicable to business development in various market opportunities. Rob's experience as a supplier to commercial vehicle OEMs includes roles as Heavy Duty Business Unit Commercial Manager for Flexfab, and previously the Vice President of Sales & Marketing at Mid-West Forge Corporation. In addition, Rob has extensive experience with a broad range of suppliers including; Managing Director at The Martec Group, where he led the transportation practice serving leading global automotive and commercial vehicle OEMs and Tier 1suppliers. Rob has also held significant positions at MPG and (Metaldyne Performance Group), Nitto Automotive.
