SR 163 to northbound I 5 Connector Closed Thursday, 11/12

SAN DIEGO - Caltrans maintenance crews will close the northbound State Route 163 (SR-163) connector to northbound Interstate 5 (I-5) Thursday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. for guardrail repair.

Motorists may continue northbound on SR-163 and connect to westbound Interstate 8 to access northbound I-5.

Motorists are reminded to be Work Zone Alert if traveling in the area and to watch for highway workers and moving construction equipment.

The work schedule is subject to change due to weather conditions, traffic incidents, or other work-related reasons.
