The Marquette Jesuit Community, the Division of Student Belonging and Student Affairs and the Office of University Relations will co-host the University Christmas tree lighting on Tuesday, Dec. 3, beginning at 5 p.m. in the Gratitude Garden outside St. Joan of Arc Chapel.

Carols will be sung and played by the Marquette band and our newly formed All-Campus Choir, which includes members of the Marquette Chorus, Gospel Choir, Liturgical Choir, the Naturals, The Meladies and the Gold n' Blues.

All students, faculty, and staff are welcome to join the All-Campus Choir in singing the carols for the Tree Lighting. If you would like to sing during the event, sign-up using this form. Questions about the All-Campus Choir can be directed to Andrew Mountin, assistant director for liturgical music.

After carols and music, Acting President, Provost and Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs Kimo Ah Yun and Rev. John Thiede, S.J., vice president for mission and ministry, will deliver remarks. Hot chocolate and cookies will be served.

The event will also be a collection site for the University Staff Senate's Holiday Giving Tree.
