U.S. Small Business Disaster Assistance Center Relocates and Extends Closing Date to August 30th

The U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) has closed its Disaster Loan Outreach Center (DLOC) at Oak Lake Community Center, Hollywood on Thursday, Aug. 1, at 6 p.m., and relocated to the Garfield Community Center, in Hollywood on Friday, Aug. 2nd.

SBA reminds businesses, private nonprofit organizations, homeowners and renters in Florida impacted by severe storms and flooding that occurred on June 11-14, to apply for physical damage disaster loans by Aug. 30 deadline.

The SBA Disaster Assistance Center is now located at the Charnow Park/Garfield Community Center, 300 Connecticut St. in Hollywood and will operate through Friday, August 30th at 4 pm - no appointments are necessary. SBA representatives will be on hand to provide opportunities for low-interest business loans and other assistance. Representatives will be available:

  • Monday- Friday: 9 am to 6 pm
  • Saturday: 10 am - 2 pm
  • Sunday: Closed

Please note: The center will temporarily close at Monday, Aug. 19 through Thursday, Aug. 22nd.

Permanently Closes: Friday, Aug. 30 at 4 p.m.
