Town of Hancock - Klondike Road Quarry

Negative Declaration

Delaware County - The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (NYS DEC), as lead agency, has determined that the proposed Klondike Road Quarry will not have a significant adverse environmental impact. The action involves a new 13 acre above ground water consolidated bluestone quarry is proposed within a 144 acre parcel. The use of mobile crushing and screening equipment, blasting, line drilling and hand excavation will be authorized within the mine. The project is located on Klondike Road, Tax parcel(s) 451.-1-1.1, 451.-1-1.2, in the Town of Hancock, New York.
