Yard Waste Update

The City of Deltona would once again like to thank residents for their patience and understanding as the City cleans up after Hurricane Milton. The City has contracted with a disaster debris hauler to collect debris left after the storm. That hauler has 11 teams in Deltona, working seven days a week. As a reminder, haulers will collect vegetation and construction material (which includes fencing), but they must be in separate piles. Combined materials will not be picked up. Deltona is a large city so the debris pick-up process will take time. If your area isn't serviced now, know that haulers will get to you.

Residents who wish to dispose of their own yard waste can take advantage of the Citizens Drop Off area at the Debris Reduction Site located at 330 State Road 415 North. That location is open seven days a week from 7 a.m. - 7 p.m. This site only takes vegetation and plastic bags will not be accepted.

Waste Pro is also working hard to back to their normal yard waste schedule. Right now, they are running about a day behind. If your binned and bagged yard waste is not collected on your normal pick-up day, Waste Pro asks that you keep the waste at the curb and they will get to it. Normal yard waste rules apply for Waste Pro pick-up.
