U.S. Chamber Endorses Rep. Josh Gottheimer for New Jersey’s 5th Congressional District

WASHINGTON, D.C. - The U.S. Chamber of Commerce announced its endorsement of Josh Gottheimer to represent New Jersey's Fifth Congressional District. The U.S. Chamber endorses candidates for federal office who will stand up for free enterprise, including by vigorously advocating for public policy solutions that will spur economic growth, support jobs, and promote businesses of all sizes' ability to continue to innovate and invest in America.

"We are proud to endorse Congressman Gottheimer and thank him for his leadership in Congress to support policies that promote economic growth," said Harold Kim, Executive Vice President of Strategic Initiatives for the U.S. Chamber. "Josh understands the importance of Free Enterprise and its role in responding to the needs of people and local communities.  As a leader of the Problem Solvers Caucus, he is dedicated to bipartisanship and has worked tirelessly to remove bureaucratic barriers, strengthen our workforce, and foster innovation. "

"Thank you to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce and all your members for your endorsement. It's an honor to have earned the support of one of our nation's most respected and important voices for small businesses, economic growth, and opportunity in our country," said Congressman Gottheimer. "I'm working hard every day to reward innovation, support our workers, promote entrepreneurship, and back the small businesses that invest and grow jobs here in North Jersey. I'm very proud of my bipartisan record backing pro-growth, pro-jobs policies that are good for Jersey small businesses and families. As long as I'm in Congress, I won't stop advocating for bipartisan, commonsense solutions that help Jersey families, including lowering taxes, cutting unnecessary red tape, and investing in our infrastructure and transit. We must do everything we can to attract more good paying jobs to Jersey and give families tools like affordable childcare and the best schools to help grow our economy."
