Texas Southern University (TSU) is excited to showcase a series of impactful partnerships that will greatly enhance the Homecoming 2024 experience. These collaborations are vital in supporting the university's mission to honor its traditions and foster student success for this year's Homecoming titled H.O.T. 97: Honoring Our Traditions - Countdown to 100

Key Partners for Homecoming 2024, H.O.T. 97 include but are not limited to:

Interscope Records' contributions to this year's festivities will have a total impact of $100,000 invested toward Music & Innovation on Texas Southern's Campus. This partnership will not only fund students pursuing careers in music, mass media, and education but will also lead to the launch of the "Homecoming Szn Vol. 1" Compilation. This body of work will celebrate the rich history of Texas Southern and other HBCUs, with funds generated through a profit-sharing model of exclusive Interscope x TSU merchandise directly benefiting Mass Communication students.

Uncle Funky's Daughter, the sustainable natural hair care brand, has committed $50,000 to establish the MPoWR Her Grant. This grant will provide crucial support to female students of African American descent who are pursuing entrepreneurial endeavors. The initiative aimed at empowering female entrepreneurs as they embark on their business journeys within the support system of TSU's startup incubator. To qualify, recipients must be in good standing with the university, enrolled full-time, and maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.75 or higher. The MPoWR Her Grant is designed to strengthen TSU's academic environment, enhance the university's profile, and attract driven, talented students. By equipping female entrepreneurs with the resources they need to succeed, this initiative aligns with TSU's mission of cultivating scholars and leaders who will drive meaningful, lasting change.

Foot Lockeris also making a meaningful contribution, donating $15,000 to support capital landscaping and beautification projects along the University Tiger Walk. This initiative will specifically focus on revitalizing the beloved avenue through the university known as the "Tiger Walk " by reinvigorating the Tiger Paw insignias on the brick and updating the information kiosks that line the path. This gift is intended to celebrate the community and honor the university's cherished traditions.
