On August 26, 2024, members of the ACI Investigations Unit charged Shaylyn Moran, age 23, of 40 Howard Avenue, Cranston, Rhode Island, with the following: 1) Assault with Bodily Fluids while Incarcerated; and 2) Simple Assault/ Battery. Ms. Moran was arraigned in Third District Court and released to the custody of the Sheriffs Department.

On August 26, 2024, members of the ACI Investigations Unit charged Megan Boucher, age 38, last known address of 358 Pine Orchard Road, Chepachet, Rhode Island, with the following: 1) Conveyance of Unauthorized Articles To/ From Institution; and 2) Possession of a Controlled Substance Schedule I-V- Less than 10 Grams. Ms. Boucher was arraigned in Third District Court and released to the custody of the Sheriffs Department.

On August 26, 2024, members of the ACI Investigations Unit charged Luis Rivas-Melendez, age 30, last known address of 23 Paradis Avenue, Woonsocket, Rhode Island, with the following: 1) Domestic Violence - Violation of a No Contact Order. Mr. Rivas-Melendez was arraigned in Third District Court and released to the custody of the Sheriffs Department.
