(Leavenworth, Kan.) - The University of Saint Mary will present a Christmas Band Concert and the 45th Annual Christmas Vespers Service in early December. Both events are free and open to the public. Seating is limited, so early arrival is encouraged.
The Christmas Band Concert, "Christmas in Europe", will be hosted at 7 p.m. on Dec. 4 in Xavier Theatre and will feature performances from the University/Community Band. Vespers is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Dec. 8 in Annunciation Chapel, featuring the USM Concert Chorale, Community Choir, and Vespers Chamber Orchestra.
USM will also honor the 2024 Katie Mika Memorial Scholars during Vespers. The scholars are Aaronn Blohm, Alexandria Cox, and Sophia Hance.
Both events will be livestreamed via the USM - Music Facebook Page.
