City of Palatka Announces Street Resurfacing Project on St. Johns Avenue

PALATKA-P & S Paving Inc., a contractor for the City of Palatka, will conduct a street resurfacing project on St. Johns Avenue from 13th Street to 4th Street from Sunday, July 21, to Sunday, July 28 (notwithstanding delays due to weather or unforeseen street conflicts). This project will necessitate the closure of St. Johns Avenue from 5 p.m. to 6 a.m. each day.

Road Closure: St. Johns Avenue will be closed overnight from 5 p.m. to 6 a.m. daily.

No Parking: Parking will be prohibited on St. Johns Avenue from 5 p.m. to 6 a.m. Vehicles parked on the street during this time will be towed at the owner's expense.

Traffic Flow: Normal traffic flow and parking will resume from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily.

While the project aims to improve the street conditions, we acknowledge the inconvenience it may cause. The City of Palatka and its contractors are committed to minimizing the impact on residents and business owners.
